Our hutches and small animal enclosures are treated with a non-toxic varnish, so they are perfectly protected against the weather. To maintain this protection, we recommend painting the wood every 1-3 years with a non-toxic wood varnish or paint (water-based, suitable for outdoor use).

You should regularly inspect the hutch for signs of biting inside and repair the affected areas as needed, so that your animals remain well protected and safe in the hutch. This way, you and your little ones will enjoy the home of the small animals for a long time.
